Cementing Services

Cementing is the process of bonding the well casing to the exposed well bore to provide optimum access to the oil or gas reserves found in the underlying formations. The properly placed cement provides support for the casing strings and hydraulic isolation between various permeable zones contacting the well bore.

Acid :

CPVEN uses Acid stimulation technology to clean (pre-existing) fractures by dissolving filling materials (secondary minerals or drilling mud) and mobilizing them for an efficient removal by flow transport. Acid treatments have been applied to wells in oil and gas bearing rock formations for many years. By dissolving acid soluble components within underground rock formations, or removing material at the wellbore face, the rate of flow of oil or gas out of production wells or the rate of flow of oil-displacing fluids into injection wells may be increased.

CPVEN in different well activities must use nitrogen, which is delivered to the well site as a refrigerated liquid that is gasified prior to injection and then is injected into the well to enhance recovery.  As the primary component of the air we breathe, the benefits of nitrogen include it being inert, environmentally friendly, non-flammable, and when gasified, exhibiting very low densities with large expansion factors. These properties make nitrogen the perfect choice for safely and efficiently tackling the toughest well needs.

CPVEN innovative intervention services conveyed on coiled tubing (CT) are designed to improve your well and reservoir performance. CT applications include matrix and fracture stimulation, wellbore cleanout, logging, perforating, nitrogen kickoff, sand control, drilling, cementing, well circulation, and mechanical isolation.

Our product portfolio includes all the tools and services you need for efficient and effective CT interventions. The coiled tubing (CT) services use real-time downhole measurements to interpret and optimize treatments while they are still in progress. These real-time CT services give you the opportunity to monitor and evaluate job progress, optimize treatment results, and intervene with one trip in the hole. The fiber-optic, telemetry-enabled CT consists of a BHA, surface electronics, and dynamic interpretation software. CT services deliver internal and external pressure, temperature, casing collar locator (CCL) depth correlation, and a distributed temperature survey (DTS).



CPVEN has a large experience in Snubbing intervention performed on oil and gas wells well. It involves running the BHA on a pipe string using a hydraulic workover rig. Unlike wireline or coiled tubing, the pipe is not spooled off a drum but made up and broken up while running in and pulling out, much like conventional drill pipe. Due to the large rigup, it is only used for the most demanding of operations when lighter intervention techniques do not offer the strength and durability. Unlike conventional drilling and completions operations, snubbing can be performed with the well still under pressure (not killed). When done so, it is called hydraulic workover. It can also be performed without having to remove the Christmas tree from the wellhead.

Drilling fluid is used to aid the drilling of boreholes into the earth. Often used while drilling oil and natural gas wells and on exploration drilling rigs, drilling fluids are also used for much simpler boreholes, such as water wells. Liquid drilling fluid is often called drilling mud. The three main categories of drilling fluids are water-based muds (which can be dispersed and non-dispersed), non-aqueous muds, usually called oil-based mud, and gaseous drilling fluid, in which a wide range of gases can be used The main functions of drilling fluids include providing hydrostatic pressure to prevent formation fluids from entering into the well bore, keeping the drill bit cool and clean during drilling, carrying out drill cuttings, and suspending the drill cuttings while drilling is paused and when the drilling assembly is brought in and out of the hole. Completion fluids purpose is to control the oil or gas well in the event that the down-hole hardware fails, so that formation or completion parts are not damaged.

There are several types of completion fluids, which include: Air and water: This combines water and compressed air, which is pumped into the boreholes or down into the drill string to provide an increased amount of cooling. This is also used as a means to control the amount of dust. Mud: This is a combination of water mixed with clay, polymers or other additives. Specialty drilling fluids: This is essentially a synthetic fluid that provides specific formation for specific drilling issues.

The completion fluids are generally brines (which are chlorides, formats or bromides). However, in theory, a completion fluid could be any fluid with the right density and flow. No matter what, it should be chemically compatible with the reservoir formation of the well as well as the other fluids.

Sand can present major obstacles to well production through reduced production rates, sand bridging, erosion of equipment, and sand disposal and removal. CPVEN offers dedicated equipment and services for gravel packing treatments, can be supported with computer-simulated designs. LWD sensors. The electromagnetic MWD/LWD system transmits data via low-frequency electromagnetic waves that propagate through the earth and are detected by a grounded antenna at the surface. It provides higher data rates and greater reliability than traditional mud pulse systems. Electromagnetic telemetry is particularly applicable for drilling with air, foam or aerated muds that preclude the use of mud pulse.
